NLEX star Robert Bolick is the new PBA Scoring Champion.

In his first season as a Road Warrior, Bolick averaged an astounding 25.3 points per game, officially earning him the scoring title for PBA Season 48.

Following his short stint in Japan’s B.League, Bolick returned to the PBA and was traded to NLEX from NorthPort.

Bolick only played four games for NLEX in the Commissioner’s Cup last season, averaging 16 points per game.

However, he officially took the reins in the Philippine Cup, scoring 28.3 points per outing.

His All-Filipino exploits included a 46-point game against Converge in March, which stood as his career-high at the time.

Bolick then fired 48 points in the playoffs against eventual champion Meralco, resetting his career-best.

Per chief statistician Fidel Mangonon III, Bolick’s season average was the highest by a PBA local player since Gary David posted 25.8 points for the Powerade Tigers in the 2011-12 season.

Bolick will be among the PBA stars feted by the PBA Press Corps during the 30th PBA Press Corps Awards Night set for Sept. 24 at the Novotel Manila Araneta City.
