NorthPort guard John Amores is in hot water once again, this time allegedly involved in a shooting incident in Laguna.
John Amores finds himself in the center of controversy once again.
In a report by News5, the NorthPort guard allegedly figured in a shooting incident in Lumban, Laguna on Wednesday, September 25.
According to a police sketch report, Amores got into an argument after a basketball game. After going to Brgy. Maytalang Uno riding motorcycles, Amores allegedly fired shots using an unconfirmed firearm.
Following the incident, it was reported that Amores fled towards the direction of Pagsanjan. He is currently being pursued by authorities.
The victim reportedly did not sustain injuries.
Amores was NorthPort’s 51st pick in the PBA Season 48 Draft.
During his time as a JRU Heavy Bomber, Amores was notably involved in a brawl against St. Benilde in 2022 during the NCAA’s 98th season.
