NorthPort Batang Pier player John Amores, along with his younger brother, have temporarily been released after posting bail on Friday, September 27.

The two were charged with attempted homicide after figuring in a shooting incident in Lumban, Laguna, according to a News5 report.

Local prosecutors recommended a bail of P24,000 for the PBA player, and P10,000 for his younger brother, who drove him to the scene where the shooting took place.

Prosecutors also noted Amores had an unlicensed gun and had "intent to kill".
