Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scored on a slam and TNT warded off Rain or Shine, 81-79, in Game 4 of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup semifinals on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Thanks in large part to Hollis-Jefferson, whose dunk capped his 23-point performance, the Tropang Giga moved on the cusp of a return trip to the finals to defend their title.
TNT leads the series, 3-1.
The former Best Import also had 19 rebounds, five assists, five steals and five blocks in another stellar game in the best-of-seven contest at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
Rey Nambatac added 15 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.
Meanwhile, RHJ's Rain or Shine counterpart, Aaron Fuller finished, with 22 points and 18 rebounds.
The Tropang Giga aims to finish off the Elasto Painters in Game 5 on Friday, Oct. 18, at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo.
