TNT went off in the second period on its way to a one-sided 113-95 win over Rain or Shine in Game 5 of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup semifinals on Friday, Oct. 18.

 The defending champion Topang Giga thus became the first team to march on to the finals.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson impressed with his 36 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and six steals for TNT, which used a 28-14 explosion in the second quarter to create a commanding 56-39 spread at the break.

The Tropang Giga refused to slow down from there.

TNT awaits the winner in the other semifinal pairing between Ginebra and San Miguel.

The Gin Kings lead the series, 3-2.
