Behind Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, TNT ended up with the best record in Group A of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup.
There was never any doubt TNT's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson would end up hoisting the Best Import award in the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup.
This was his second coronation after winning the top individual plum in the same conference last year when he helped the Tropang Giga claim the title.
He was handed the recognition shortly before Game 4 of the Finals battle between his squad and Ginebra.

The TNT import has been nothing short of amazing the entire conference where the Tropang Giga wound up atop Group A after the elimination round and breezed their way to the Finals against Ginebra.
After making short work of Rain or Shine in the semifinals, the do-it-all reinforcement tallied 28.0 points, 12.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists and league-bests 2.9 steals and 1.9 blocks.
RHJ ended up becoming the overwhelming winner of the award after tallying 1221 points (663 from statistics, 491 from media votes and 67 from player votes). His rival, Ginebra's Justin Brownlee, was a distant second with 947.
It appears there's nothing stopping the former Brooklyn Net as he has continued wreaking havoc in the ongoing finale where he even dropped 37 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block in Game 2 last Wednesday, Oct. 30.
