Christian Standhardinger, who expressed his decision to retire from the PBA, still has a month left in his contract with Terrafirma.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said Terrafirma should make an offer if it wants to retain the rights to soon-to-retire Christian Standhardinger.

"'Yung rights mapupunta sa kanila. Kailangang mag-offer sila," said Marcial on Thursday, Nov. 28.
“Kahit email lang or basta may makita kaming in-offer sila. 'Yung rights noon na kay Terrafirma maski na mag-retire siya or gusto niyang bumalik.”
Marcial made the aforementioned remarks after Terrafirma revealed Standhardinger will be retiring from the league after seven years.
Standhardinger’s contract with the Dyip, though, expires at the end of December 2024.
Failure to make an official offer before the said date will make the Filipino-German a free agent.

Marcial said Terrafirma can also enforce the contract and file charges against the two-time Best Player of the Conference awardee.
“Ang magagawa doon, kung hahabulin talaga ng Terrafirma, magdedemanda si Terrafirma. Pero isang buwan na lang kasi,” Marcial said.
Before the start of the season, Ginebra traded Standhardinger and Stanley Pringle to the Dyip for Isaac Go and Stephen Holt.
The 6-foot-8 slotman did suit up for Terrafirma in the season-opening Governors’ Cup, but had to sit out the remaining games in the latter part of the eliminations due to a meniscus injury.
