Despite missing key players, the Meralco Bolts looked good in their match against the Phoenix Fuel Masters in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup Friday.
Meralco jumpstarted its PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup campaign with a 111-109 victory against Phoenix at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate on Friday, Nov. 29.
Playing shorthanded as injuries hit key players Chris Banchero, Allein Maliksi, Bradon Bates and CJ Cansino, the Bolts look like they did not need them in nipping the Fuel Masters.
