Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone spoke highly of his former player Christian Standhardinger amid his situation with the Terrafirma Dyip in the PBA.
They may not have been on the same page, but Barangay Ginebra San Miguel coach Tim Cone believes Fil-German Christian Standhardinger still has a lot left to play.
This comes as Standhardinger's contract with Terrafirma Dyip is set to expire by the end of the year.
"We could see him show up with another team. He certainly got a lot of game left," Cone said during One PH's Power & Play when asked about his former player.
"He's a good guy. He's not a bad guy, he's a good guy," he reiterated.
Standhardinger last played during the Governors' Cup for Terrafirma, following a blockbuster trade that saw him and Stanley Pringle shipped by Ginebra for Stephen Holt and Isaac Go.
Cone explained back in July how Ginebra and CStan decided to go their separate ways.
"He had stated to us a conference ago that he would prefer to play in a different system and under a different coach. No doubt, he loved his teammates and playing for the Ginebra fans, but he felt it was better to move on," the tactician previously shared.

Cone spoke about it again when asked for his thoughts about the latest development on Standhardinger on Power & Play.
"It's come out already that he and I never really got on the same page. We struggled to get on the same page together," he said. "There were moments when he tried really hard to get on with me, and there were moments that I tried to get on with him."
"But we clashed a lot, there's no doubt. It just got to a point where he felt he needed to move on, and we felt it might be better to move on," Cone added.
After Terrafirma's opening loss in the Commissioner's Cup, new head coach Raymond Tiongco bared the two-time Best Player of the Conference had not been showing up in practice.
Team governor Bobby Rosales then confirmed to the media of the player's supposed intent to retire.
"He informed the team of his retirement. His contract will expire year end and he was informed of his obligations. The Office of the Commissioner has been informed of the matter," Rosales said in a message to News5.

PBA Comissioner Willie Marcial then clarified that Terrafirma has to make an offer before the end of the year if they want to retain the rights to CStan.
Otherwise, he would become a free agent.

The Dyip could also file charges, but it may not be worth their time.
"Pero isang buwan na lang kasi," Marcial said.
Cone admitted he doesn't know the situation with CStan and Terrafirma, but he believes it's not the last fans would see Standhardinger--who has four championships with Ginebra and the San Miguel Beermen.
"He's got incredible talent. He's gonna make a team a lot better. It just didn't work out with Terrafirma," he said.
"We'll see where he ends up. Maybe we'll hear him play in Europe again or somewhere else. He's a talented kid. He deserves to be playing somewhere."
