Filipino pole vaulter EJ Obiena and Creamline's Alyssa Valdez are known for dominating their own sports, but they're showing they’re multi-talented as they step onto the tennis court.
Filipino pole vaulter EJ Obiena and Creamline's Alyssa Valdez might be masters in their respective sports, but they’re proving they’re also jack-of-all-trades as they try their hand at tennis.
The dynamic duo took a break from their usual training to have some fun on the tennis court, joining Bea Fabregas and Austin DeLos Santos for a friendly game. And, true to form, EJ and Alyssa showed they’re not just one-sport wonders.
As expected, the Filipino Olympian EJ Obiena brought his trademark strength and precision to the game, showing off his impressive tennis skills.
“Didn’t expect anything less. Yes magaling din si @ernestobienapv magtennis,” Bea wrote on her Instagram story, clearly impressed by EJ’s athletic versatility.

But Alyssa didn’t hold back either. The Cool Smashers’ captain proved that no matter what sport she’s in, her competitive spirit shines through. Tennis may be a far cry from volleyball, but Alyssa has the form and finesse to match any challenge.
“I am thoroughly convinced @alyssa_valdez2 can dominate any sport she tries. Not even kidding! Incredible form. This is only the second time picking up a racket,” Bea wrote, praising Alyssa's hidden talents.
