Bid farewell to the past year and embrace the coming one with your favorite PBA baller, Meralco stalwart Bong Quinto.
There was a lot to be thankful for in 2024 for Meralco ace Bong Quinto.
It was the year Quinto helped the Bolts capture their first PBA championship at the expense of no less than the mighty powerhouse, San Miguel Beermen.
The former NCAA champion talked about that and more in this quick Q&A with One Sports.
One Sports: What would you say is your greatest achievement in 2024?
Bong Quinto: Siguro, 'yung championship namin as a team, and as an invidual, the Mr. Quality Minutes (recognition he got in the 30th PBA Press Corps Awards last September). Siguro, 'yun 'yung isa sa pinakanaging successful ako this year.
OS: What is the greatest lesson you have learned this year?
Bong: Mas maging gutom pa kahit na nag-champion na. Mas pagtrabahuhan pa.
OS: Is that also your goal for 2025?
Bong: Yes. Dapat every year mayroong improvement na nangyayari.

OS: Do you have any New Year’s Eve tradition?
Bong: We celebrate sa church. 'Yan 'yung importante. Magpasalamat sa Panginoon na binigyan niya kami ng magandang taon, 2024. I know na sobrang daming blessings, sobrang daming mga darating na blessings pa sa 2025.
OS: What is your New Year’s resolution?
Bong: Siguro, mas mag-improve pa. Kung anong mga nagawa and 'yung mga mistakes this year, mas ma-improve. More on improvement lang.
