Too mucho to handle for Chery Tiggo.
Another PVL conference, another seventh-place finish for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans. But this time, the ube girls are holding their heads up high.
Choco Mucho started Saturday's game day of the PVL Invitational Conference with a straight-set decimation of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, 25-20, 26-24, 25-15.
And it was Caitlin Viray who flew the highest, with 22 points coming off 17 attacks, three blocks, and two aces, along with eight excellent digs.
"Actually medyo slow start pa nga kami pero maganda dun, kinapitan namin, nilaban namin, 'di kami bumitaw," Viray said during the post-match interview, punctuated by a hug from former UST Golden Tigress teammate and now Choco Mucho sister Sisi Rondina.
Like the 2023 All-Filipino Conference and last year's Invitational Conference, Choco Mucho will settle at seventh place, but the mood is different this time around.
"Mindset kami na kailangan maganda end namin para madala namin next conference. At least matatapos kami ngayon, makakapagpahinga knowing binigay 'yung best namin," Viray added.
"Mahalaga super nakakataas ng morale, na kahit 'di nakuha 'yung goal namin this conference, still maganda 'yung pinakita namin."
