Majoy Baron of the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers experienced a career resurgence in the PVL Invitational Conference, which culminated in her being named 1st Best Middle Blocker of the tournament. The former DLSU Lady Spiker averaged a league-leading 1.07 block per set. Trailing her was fellow awardee Ced Domingo, who normed 0.82 blocks per set.

Baron’s return to top form was a fabulous story on its own. In the previous conference, the 27-year-old defender was relegated to the bench as teammates Ivy Lacsina and Aby Maraño took over as F2’s regular starters. But in the recently concluded PVL Invitational tourney, Cargo Movers coach Regine Diego had a few lineup tweaks and Baron was given the opportunity to once again start. Now, she reigns as the league’s best player in her position.

As it should be, Baron’s massive comeback was celebrated by her teammates and supporters. On Instagram, the F2 Logistics star showed her appreciation of all the love she’s been getting from her circle.

A couple of IG stories she shared were congratulatory messages from fellow Cargo Movers stalwarts Kim Kianna Dy and Tyang Aby.

KKD can even be heard giggling in excitement as Majoy was receiving her trophy.

“Love you, Tyang,” replied Baron as she reposted Maraño’s greeting.

Her Cargo Movers family meanwhile, got a little witty with its message.

“MB for Best MB,” F2’s IG account wrote.

Baron acknowledged a fan who pointed out her idol’s tremendous resilience.

“What a comeback, kahit puro plaster na ang tuhod, grabe,” the netizen posted.

Mega Global Licensing president and volleyball fanatic Suki Salvador broke down the significance of Baron’s latest accolade by recognizing that the latter has been named best middle blocker in the UAAP, the Philippine Super Liga (PSL), the Asean Grand Prix, and now, in the PVL as well.

Another fan with the Instagram handle holler.11 pretty much summed up what most of Majoy’s followers probably feels.

“WELCOME BACK,” the netizen posted.

F2 finished fourth in the PVL Invitational Conference, but with a talent like Baron re-emerging, there’s definitely a lot to look forward to in the near future.
