Choco Mucho Flying Titans middle blocker Aduke Ogunsanya is effectively out of the 2024 PVL season, after injuring her ACL once again and other parts of her left knee.

The team announced the diagnosis on Saturday, after Ogunsanya suffered a bad fall in the February 22 game against the Nxled Chameleons.

The injury will require surgery and nine to 12 months of rehabilitation.

"We are disheartened by this unfortunate development, considering Aduke had just fully recovered from her previous injury and is making a strong return. We are, however, confident in her resilience and spirit to overcome this challenge once again," the team said in a statement.

"Management will provide Aduke with the best possible treatment and medical attention to ensure that she will be back with the team at the appropriate time, stronger than ever before."

Ogunsanya made her return during the 2023 PVL Second All-Filipino Conference after sitting out for more than a year due to a torn ACL on her right knee.

She was then part of the run to the Flying Titans' silver medal finish in the conference, their best ever campaign in the PVL.
