Tots Carlos delivered a performance to remember on Tuesday night.

Carlos detonated for 38 points as she came through in the clutch, leading Creamline's reverse sweep over Cignal, 26-28, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 16-14, in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena.

A little over a month after scoring 31 in a win against Akari, Carlos reset her career-high to 38, breaking the PVL's local scoring record in the process.

Choco Mucho's Sisi Rondina held the local record in the PVL's professional ero with 33 points Game 2 of the 2023 Second All-Filipino Conference, while Tots' Creamline teammate Alyssa Valdez had the non-pro record with 37 points set in 2017.

Pro or non-pro, the all-time PVL scoring record stands at 44 points, courtesy of Akari's Prisilla Rivera.

The Cool Smashers heavily relied on Carlos, who rained down 35 attacks and three blocks, clawing their way back from two-sets down to forge a decider.

Momentum swung wildly in the fifth frame before Ces Molina and Chai Troncoso tipped the scales to Cignal's favor for a 13-10 edge.

Refusing to let her efforts go to waste, Carlos went on a personal 4-0 spurt and towed Creamline ahead, 15-14.

Jeannette Panaga then sealed the deal by roofing Ces Molina.

Jema Galanza turned in a triple-double of 14 points, 11 receptions and 30 digs, while Kyle Negrito tossed out 35 excellent sets.

Bernadeth Pons contributed 13 markers for the Cool Smashers, who also strung 11 points from Panaga.

Cignal, which could not sustain its strong start, dropped to 4-2.

Jovelyn Gonzaga put up an all-around effort of 22 points, 21 digs and 16 receptions that went down the drain. Molina and Roselyn Doria each had 19 markers in the losing cause.

Creamline seeks to carry over momentum when it takes on Farm Fresh on April 6, Saturday, at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex.

Cignal tries to get back on winning track when it collides with Farm Fresh on April 4, Thursday, at the same Pasig venue.
