Look who's back.

Russian spiker Elena Samoilenko will be suiting up once again for the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the upcoming 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference, the squad announced on Friday.

"We just loved Lena Samoilenko's quiet intensity so much that we had to bring her back for another tour of duty," the High Speed Hitters posted.

Samoilenko made her debut in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference with a 35-point outburst against the Philippine Army Lady Troopers.

She remained a formidable source of firepower for PLDT, becoming the top scorer of the preliminaries with 213 points.

However, it wasn't enough to propel PLDT to the semifinals, ending up in sixth place.

Things are expected to be different this year, as Samoilenko could be teaming up with Fil-Canadian hard hitter Savi Davison.

She would also be seeing new faces for the squad with the likes of setter Kim Fajardo, middle blocker Majoy Baron, the recovering spiker Kim Kianna Dy, as well as young Tamaraws in Kiesha Bedonia and Shiela Kiseo.
