After delivering an awe-inspiring 50-point performance to break her own PVL scoring record, Capital1 Solar Spikers’ Marina Tushova sparked a wave of admiration across the volleyball community which celebrated her incredible milestone.
Tushova’s teammates and rivals alike have taken to social media to shower her with heartfelt and warm congratulations as she capped her maiden PVL stint with the single-best scoring outburst the league has ever seen.

In her Instagram story, Capital1 setter Iris Tolenada expressed her admiration for her teammate.
“@marina.tushova is one of the toughest volleyball players and most amazing humans I’ve ever had the honor of playing with. What an inspiration and blessing! Thank you, sister,” Tolenada posted.

Likewise, Capital1 Solar Spikers team owner Milka Romero conveyed her deep respect for their Russian import, whose remarkable performance uplifted the team to make their first PVL playoff appearance in just their second conference as a franchise.

Marina Tushova’s unwavering fighting spirit has not only inspired her team but also lit a fire in the young talent emerging in the local volleyball scene, particularly in Alyssa Solomon of the Alas Pilipinas and NU Lady Bulldogs.
