The Choco Mucho Flying Titans bounced back from their opening-day defeat with a five-set victory over the Galeries Tower Highrisers.
Choco Mucho is on the board in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference after closing out Galeries Tower in five sets, 27-29, 25-20, 25-19, 17-25, 15-12, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan on Thursday, Nov. 14.
The Flying Titans overcame another tough fight given by the Highrisers, who were dealt their second loss.
In the fifth set, Choco Mucho distanced itself from Galeries Tower by as many as three points, 10-7, after a kill block by Lorraine Pecaña.
The Highrisers, however, managed to trim the lead to just a single point at 10-11 after a check ball by Ysa Jimenez.
Clinging on to their slim advantage, the Flying Titans turned to their superstar, Sisi Rondina to seal the hard-fought victory.

Kat Tolentino was hailed the Player of the Game with 27 points on 20 attacks and seven blocks that went along with 10 excellent digs.
Choco Mucho will try to go back-to-back against the Capital1 next Thursday, Nov. 21, in the same venue.
Galeries Tower, meanwhile, goes for its first win against PLDT on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Ynares Center Antipolo.
