It was Jackie Acuña's time to shine once more for the Cignal HD Spikers.

With Roselyn Doria out due to personal reasons, Acuña was called upon by coach Shaq Delos Santos to be one of the starters against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

The 24-year-old middle blocker delivered in the starting role, finishing with a team-high 14 points, five of which came as blocks, to help the HD Spikers power past the Flying Titans in four sets.

“Happy ako sa naging performance ng lahat. Talagang pinagpaguran namin sa training. Then talagang sinunod lang namin yung system ni Coach Shaq,” Acuña said during the post-game press conference.

Facing a tough Choco Mucho squad led by Sisi Rondina, Acuña made it a point to contribute any way she could for the still-undefeated HD Spikers.

Under Cignal, Acuña is often rotated with some of the best middle blockers in the league which include Doria and Riri Meneses.

The 6-foot middle blocker has shown great strides since the 2024 Reinforced Conference.

Despite coming off the bench, the 6-foot Acuña continues to stay ready for the HD Spikers as they continue to push for their championship aspirations.

Acuña and the rest of the HD Spikers will look to continue their momentum and go for their fourth-straight win against the Nxled Chameleons in Cebu on December 7.
