Myla Pablo hopes to continue her solid performances for the Petro Gazz Angels in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
It’s back-to-back double-digit outings for Myla Pablo in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Coming off an 11-point output against Farm Fresh in Candon, Ilocos Sur on November 23, Pablo upped that one with 15 markers in Petro Gazz's straight-set win over Akari, earning Player of the Game honors as well.
Given her strong performances, is this the vintage Myla that PVL fans have come to know of? Well, not quite yet said the 31-year-old outside hitter.
“As of now naman, medyo okay naman performance ko. At least nakakatulong ako sa team ko ngayon, so I think talaga more work pa sa mga next games namin,” Pablo told One Sports.
“I think kailangan ko pang i-work ‘yung mga kung anong dapat kong i-work sa loob ng court, kung ano ‘yung mga mistakes ko this game kailangan ko i-training pa,” she added.

Before joining Petro Gazz earlier this year, Pablo had been dealing with knee injuries that forced her to sit out matches for the now-defunct F2 Logistics.
But now, Bagyong Pablo is fully healthy once more and is relishing the minutes being given to her.
“Healthy ako. Siyempre pinaghandaan ko ito tapos ganun lang. I think inaalagan ko sarili ko ngayon kapag may mga nararamdaman ako andiyan na ‘yung mga PT na nakasuporta sakin,” Pablo emphasized.
It also helps that fans continue to cheer her on and push for the two-time PVL MVP to get more minutes with Petro Gazz.
“Sobrang happy kasi may mga tao pa talaga nagtitiwala sakin sa loob ng court. Siyempre, malaking bagay din sakin ‘yun na naglalaro ako, nakaka-boost ng confidence din sa mga taong naniniwala sakin,” said Pablo.
The Angels are currently sitting with a 3-1 record, tied for third in the standings with PLDT and Chery Tiggo.
After their disappointing exit in the 2024 Reinforced Conference, Pablo hopes to contribute in any way she can to lead Petro Gazz to glory once more.
“Well kasi the last conference, parang naging bad din ‘yung pagka-loss namin kasi ang daming nagkasakit,” said Pablo.
“I think talaga kailangan namin bumawi this conference na alam naman namin is individual malakas naman so kailangan namin i-work ‘yun as a team para makamit namin ‘yung goal namin,” she added.
