Creamline Cool Smashers import Erica Staunton will play with a familiar face as she joins Jakarta Pertamina Energi for the Proliga 2024-2025 season.
Creamline Cool Smashers champion import Erica Staunton is set to continue her volleyball journey in Indonesia, signing with the Jakarta Pertamina Energi team for the Proliga 2024-2025 season.
Staunton's move comes after her departure from her OrPo contract in Finland, marking the next chapter in her professional career.
Joining Staunton in Indonesia's top volleyball league is another familiar face in the PVL, former PLDT High Speed Hitters import Elena Samoilenko.
The Russian spiker, who delivered an impressive performance with the High Speed Hitters during the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference, will also suit up for Jakarta Pertamina Enduro in the upcoming Proliga season.
The partnership between Staunton and Samoilenko is expected to bring firepower and international experience to the Jakarta-based squad.
Both players have established themselves as key contributors in their respective stints in the PVL and are now looking to make a mark in Indonesia.
Staunton was a crucial piece for the Cool Smashers’ historic Grand Slam run in 2024, helping the team secure the Reinforced and Invitational Conferences.
