Former Creamline middle blocker Risa Sato was spotted in a group photo of what could possibly be her new PVL team.
After parting ways with the Creamline Cool Smashers in November 2024, Risa Sato’s next move may have already been set.
While fans await which PVL team will snatch the Japanese middle blocker’s services, Sato may have already found a new home—based on a photo circulating on social media.
In a post on X, volleyball fans recently shared a photo of Sato along with players and coaches of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.
In the photo, Sato could be seen sitting beside Mylene Paat and Aby Maraño.
The Crossovers have yet to confirm whether or not Sato has signed with the team for the ongoing 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
It’s worth noting that the 30-year-old middle blocker was not included in the Cool Smashers roster in the conference, allowing her to play for the team she signed with right away.

For now, fans will have to wait for Chery Tiggo’s announcement on her possible signing.
The Crossovers will be back on January 21 when they face the top-seeded Petro Gazz Angels at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
