The PLDT High Speed Hitters flexed its muscle on the Farm Fresh Foxies, winning in straight sets in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The PLDT High Speed Hitters secured back-to-back wins and jumped to the third spot in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference after taking down the Farm Fresh Foxies in four sets, 25-20, 25-17, 25-19, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
In control for most of the game, the High Speed Hitters distanced themselves from the Foxies in the third frame after being tied 14-all led by Mika Reyes and Savi Davison.
Ahead 21-19, Davison scored in all ways and forms, delivering PLDT's last four points to secure the victory.
Angge Alcantara orchestrated the team's clean sweep with 12 excellent sets and four points.
Following the win, the High Speed Hitters jumped to 3rd place in the standings with a 6-3 record. Meanwhile, the Foxies remains in 9th place with a 4-5 record.
With two games left in their schedule, the High Speed Hitters will have an 11-day break before their next game against the Creamline Cool Smashers on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Ynares Center Antipolo.
