Chery Tiggo finally snapped a four-game skid and the Crossovers moved one step closer towards PVL All-Filipino quarterfinal berth after thwarting the Nxled Chameleons.
The Chery Tiggo Crossovers leaned on strong finishing kick to post a 25-22, 26-24, and 25-12 victory over the Nxled Chameleons in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference Play-In tournament at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig, Thursday, March 6.
Chery Tiggo banked on a strong 11-2 run to seal the win and now occupied the pole position in Pool B that also includes the Farm Fresh Foxies.
Shaya Adorador had 14 points from 13 attacks and one ace to lead the squad.
The winner of the group will earn the right to face the defending champion and no. 1 seed Creamline Cool Smashers in a best-of-three quarterfinal series.
Earlier, the Chery Tiggo handed a straight-set loss to the Chameleons in their preliminary encounter.

Chery Tiggo aims for back-to-back wins as the Crossovers face the Farm Fresh on Tuesday, March 13 at the same venue. Nxled, meanwhile, squares off with Foxies two days later.
