Ara Galang and the Chery Tiggo Crossovers know that they have a daunting task in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino quarterfinals.

Fresh off their four-set victory over the Farm Fresh Foxies, Galang was proud to see the fight in her teammates to secure the quarterfinal berth in Pool B.

The former DLSU star led the way for the Crossovers with 20 points on 16 attacks, three blocks, and one ace.

"Masaya kasi nakita ko naman na lahat kami gusto namin manalo. Lahat pinagtatrabahuhan namin together, kasi ayun 'yung mahalaga eh, kumbaga walang bumibitaw,” Galang said during the post-game press conference. “Lahat talaga makikita mo gusto manalo. Lahat gustong tiyagain every point kaya yun, masaya na nandoon na yung team namin which is pwede pang meron i-angat."

But the road to glory only gets more difficult from here on out for Chery Tiggo.

As they enter the quarterfinals as the No. 8 seed, the Crossovers will have to go up against the defending champions and five-peat seeking Creamline Cool Smashers.

In their matchup during the preliminary round, Creamline swept Chery Tiggo as the Cool Smashers asserted their dominance once more in the extended conference.

But with a fresh start and a best-of-three series to prove themselves, Galang is hopeful that the Crossovers can pull off a major upset against the Cool Smashers.

"Pantay na ['yung laban] eh. Kumabaga, wala na yung nasa taas or hindi although sila ‘yung defending champions. Mahalaga magstart siya sa team namin,” Galang emphasized.

“Kung ano 'yung kaya naming ipakita, kung ano 'yung kaya pagtrabahuhan as a team, kahit sino man 'yung makakaharap namin, for sure magwo-work 'yun basta hindi kami bibitaw sa isa't isa at magtutulungan kami,” she added.
