The Creamline Cool Smashers are on the verge of securing another PVL semifinals appearance as they take on the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in Game 2 of their best-of-three quarterfinal series in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Ynares Center Antipolo on Saturday, March 22.

The Cool Smashers took Game 1 in dominant fashion as they swept the Crossovers, 25-10, 27-25, 25-21, behind a balanced effort from their core players.

Team captain Alyssa Valdez led the way with 16 points, but it was Creamline’s teamwork and defensive discipline that paved the way for the convincing victory.

As Creamline aims to defend its crown, libero Kyla Atienza is expected to play a crucial role in anchoring the team's floor defense against Chery Tiggo’s relentless attacks.

With her leadership and defensive prowess, the Cool Smashers will aim to close out the series and extend their streak of semifinal appearances since joining the league.

A victory on Saturday would not only send Creamline to the semis but also mark head coach Sherwin Meneses’ 101st career win, further solidifying the team’s dominance in the league.
