Looks like Jared Bahay will continue wearing a blue jersey.
Prized recruit Jared Bahay has chosen his next home, and it's pretty much close to his heart.
The reigning CESAFI High School MVP from Sacred Heart School (SHS)-Ateneo de Cebu has chosen to play for the Blue Eagles, based on a release sent on Thursday.
A factor in Bahay's decision was to continue his Jesuit education, having won championships for SHS-Ateneo de Cebu in grade school and high school.
“I have decided to continue my studies at Ateneo de Manila and play for the Ateneo men's basketball team. I believe that sustaining my Jesuit education will help unlock and sharpen my potential to the fullest, both on and off the court," he said in a statement released to the media.
"Growing up and experiencing Cura Personalis at SHS-ADC, I am confident that their vision and holistic approach will contribute to my growth and maturity as a student, athlete, and person."
"I look forward to joining Coach Tab, the team, and the rest of the Ateneo community soon. ‘Dugay nako nagdamgo nga makabot ko sa UAAP, ug pirting lipaya nako nga makaduwa ko para sa blue and white.'" said Bahay.
Earlier this year, the 18-year-old baller confirmed he decommitted from the UP Fighting Maroons.

Ateneo head coach Tab Baldwin and team manager Epok Quimbo flew to Cebu to confirm Bahay's commitment.
"We’re really happy that Jared opted to come to Ateneo. We’re very excited, knowing that he will be a significant part of our program moving forward," said Ateneo Head Coach Tab Baldwin.
After regaining the UAAP men's basketball championship in Season 85, the Blue Eagles were failed to reach the finals in Season 86, ending a streak of six straight finals appearances.
Bahay, a standout of the Gilas Pilipinas Youth program, will be seeing familiar national youth team members in Kyle Gamber, Lebron Nieto, Kobe Demisana, and Mason Amos.
The Blue Eagles have been pretty busy with their Gilas Pilipinas Youth recruitment.
Bahay also joins former SHS-ADC Magis Eagles Raffy Celis and Michael Asoro.
Jared Bahay is eligible for 5 playing years starting in Season 87.
