Angel Canino's return for the DLSU Lady Spikers in still unclear as she deals with a right arm injury.
Reigning MVP Angel Canino's status for the rest of the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament is in peril due to a right arm injury.
When the De La Salle Lady Spikers warmed up for their match, Canino was spotted wearing an arm sling and sat at the sidelines against the UP Fighting Maroons.
This shed some light on her condition after days of speculation on social media.
Canino reportedly is dealing with a right arm injury due to an accident not related to volleyball, according to DLSU courtside correspondent Patricia Dabao. She added that there is no set timeline for the 5-foot-11 outside hitter's return.
La Salle has yet to make an official statement on the matter.
The Reigning MVP missed her first UAAP game in the senior's division after playing 24-straight games
Canino is currently the seventh best scorer in the league with 130 points as well as the fifth best spiker on 37.46% efficiency.
DLSU now holds a 7-1 record in a bid to secure back-to-back UAAP titles.
