Two-time UAAP MVP Kevin Quiambao says that his first foray to professional basketball in the KBL is part of his bigger goal of chasing after the NBA.
Kevin Quiambao is headed to the Korean Basketball League after all.
The two-time UAAP MVP confirmed the development on social Monday, saying his next step will be with the Goyang Sono Skygunners in the KBL.
KQ went one step further, saying that his initial KBL stint is part of his bigger goal of chasing after the NBA.
The night prior, Quiambao and his Green Archers lost the UAAP title to the UP Fighting Maroons in a dramatic Game 3 finish to the Season 87 Finals.
Quiambao joins the KBL that already feature Filipino imports such as Carl Tamayo, Juan and Javi de Liaño, SJ Belangel, and reigning KBL MVP Ethan Alvano.
The Skygunners are currently last in the 10-team field in Korea with a 5-13 record.
