Kiefer Ravena and his Shiga Lakes will have a chance to get back in the B.League Division 1.

This after the Lakes officially clinched their spot in the B2 Playoffs Saturday, despite not playing any games.

Through the day’s results, Shiga’s 33-12 record is enough to advance, becoming the second team to formalize their entry to the playoffs after Altiri Chiba.

After a rough patch where they lost five of six games, including back-to-back beatdowns to Chiba, the Lakes have responded quite nicely and are currently in the middle of an eight-game winning streak, their second-longest of the season. Shiga will have the chance for a season-best streak and the team plays Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka in a back-to-back set on Monday and Tuesday.

Playing in his third season with Shiga, Kiefer Ravena is currently averaging 12.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game.

For the Lakes to regain their place back in the B1, they will need to advance in the Finals of the B2 Playoffs as only the top-two teams will be granted promotion.
