Three days into 2025, PVL teams are back to work for the All-Filipino Conference, which resumes on January 18.

With a few more weeks before their return, players are looking to get back into form as they vie for the crown in the extended conference.

Among those that shared their first day back into training are the PLDT High Speed Hitters, who commemorated their first day back with a team selfie.

The High Speed Hitters are currently fifth in the standings with a 3-2 record.

“The PLDT High Speed Hitters looked delighted to see each other again as they return to training today in QC,” the team said in their post.

Also back in training are the Nxled Chameleons at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

The Chameleons look to finally secure their first win in the conference after starting 0-7.

“Back for the new year, lighting it up again,” Nxled wrote in their post.

Meanwhile, the top-seeded Petro Gazz Angels are back and looking to continue their strong start to the conference.

The Angels finished the Christmas break with a 5-1 record, with their only loss coming against the Creamline Cool Smashers in their first match.

“Holiday season is over! Back to the grind,” the team said.

Other PVL teams have likewise started training in 2025 and are expected to ramp up their preparations as the conference nears its resumption.

On January 18, the league will hold an exciting triple-header, which will feature the Farm Fresh Foxies against the Chameleons, and the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles facing off against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

Lastly, it will be the highly-anticipated match between the High Speed Hitters and Akari Chargers.
