Indeed, it’s always sunny in Oklahoma City. 

The wins keep coming for the Thunder, who strung the longest winning streak of the squad since moving to OKC on the same night Steph Curry did a first in his glorious career. 


RED-HOT THUNDER KEEP ROLLING; CELTICS EDGE TIMBERWOLVES IN TWIN CITIES    

  • OKC Thunder (28-5) def. LA Clippers (19-15), 116-98: Make it 13 straight wins for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the West-leading Thunder after routing the Clippers.

  • Boston Celtics (25-9) def. Minnesota Timberwolves (17-16), 118-115: Despite the absence of reigning Finals  MVP Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum picked up the slack in a thrilling Celtics squeaker. 

  • Juice it up, JT: Tatum went off with a near triple double of 33 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds to deliver win no. 25 for Boston this season. 

  • Indiana Pacers (17-18) def. Miami Heat (17-15), 128-115: Tyrese Haliburton made history with dazzling display for a rousing Pacers road dub against the Heat.

  • Hali-lujah: Haliburton finished with 33 points, 15 assists, and six threes without a turnover, becoming the first player to record 30 or more points, 15 or more assists, and hit five or more threes with 0 turnover in multiple games. 

 


LEBRON JAMES, STEPHEN CURRY CONTINUE TO DEFY FATHER TIME 

  • Golden State Warriors (17-16) def. Philadelphia 76ers (13-19), 139-105: Stephen Curry registered his first career-game connecting on all of his eight three point attempts to demolish the Sixers.

  • LA Lakers (19-14) def. Portland Trail Blazers (17-15), 114-106: LeBron James put on a show and the Lakers bucked the absence of Anthony Davis to register their second win over the Trail Blazers this season.  

  • King 🤝 His Airness: The 40-year-old James finished with 38 points and eight dimes, sharing the most 30+ point games in NBA history with Michael Jordan with 562. 

  • Brooklyn Nets (13-21) def. Milwaukee Bucks (17-15), 113-110: D’Angelo Russell got his first win in his second stint with the Nets after overcoming Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks.
