2024 has been a year full of revelation—most notably for Kai Sotto.

The towering 7-foot-3 center finally showed his true potential on the court, whether for Gilas Pilipinas or his new team, the Koshigaya Alphas in the Japan B.LEAGUE.

In his last social media post for the year, Sotto joined the trend of recapping his year with photos and videos in under a minute.

“Thank you 2024! You're my favorite year so far. Happy New Year everyone,” Sotto wrote in his caption.

Sotto showcased his dominance on the court, leading Gilas to a stellar campaign in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers while also making waves in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament last July.

The 22-year-old big man’s  consistent performance has been nothing short of remarkable as well in the B.LEAGUE. Over 24 games, he has averaged an impressive double-double with 14.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per outing.

But more than his stellar play on the court, Sotto had a sweet year along with his girlfriend Rere Madrid, as shown by their photos on social media.
