Stacking up a new-found consistency in the hardcourt is Alec Stockton.
The Converge FiberXers guard is gearing up for the Governors’ Cup playoffs by earning the PBA Press Corps-Pilipinas Live Player of the Week citation for the period of September 17 to 23.
Stockton averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and a steal in Converge's final two games--including wins over title contenders Meralco Bolts and Magnolia Hotshots.
Against the Bolts, the spitfire guard went off with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists--including some clutch baskets late to seal the win.

He’s also one of four FiberXers players who logged double-digit outputs Converge’s playoff-clinching dub against Magnolia.

Converge will face a daunting task ahead in their return to the playoffs, pitted against the winningest team San Miguel Beermen in a best-of-five quarterfinal series starting this Thursday, September 26 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
