Carlos Alcaraz enters medal rounds with quarters win over Tommy Paul | Paris 2024 highlights

Carlos Alcaraz erased a 1-4 deficit and a set point in the second to foil Tommy Paul 6-3, 7-6 (7), and enter the semifinals in Paris 2024 on Thursday, Aug. 1.

Alcaraz, currently ranked third but has already reached World No. 1 status, became the youngest semifinalist in the Olympic men's singles event since 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the Beijing edition in 2008.

The Spanish prodigy is aged 21 years and 88 days while Djokovic was 21 years and 85 days old at the time.
