Alcaraz, currently ranked third but has already reached World No. 1 status, became the youngest semifinalist in the Olympic men's singles event since 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the Beijing edition in 2008.
The Spanish prodigy is aged 21 years and 88 days while Djokovic was 21 years and 85 days old at the time.
