Filipina Joanie Delgaco finishes her Paris 2024 stint on a high note with a Top 20 finish in the women's single sculls of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 Rowing competition, the highest ranking achieved by a Filipina in the Olympic Sport.
Delgaco's Top 20 placing came after she finished second in the Final D with a time of 7:43.83, behind Paraguay's Alejandra Alderete who registered a time of 7:42.09.
The 26-year-old Filipina is the first woman to represent the Philippines in the rowing competition.
