Bianca Pagdanganan vows to be aggressive yet smart for the final day of women's golf later on Saturday in Paris 2024.
"Tough day at the office."
Philippine golfer Bianca Pagdanganan slips in the rankings of women's golf in the Olympic Games Paris 2024, going down to joint 13th after round 3.
She went one-over par for a score of 73, a drastic drop from joint sixth in round 2.
"It's okay, can't always have good days. At least I kinda know what I need to work on," Pagdanganan told Boom Gonzalez of Cignal TV/One Sports. "I felt it really could have been a lot worse. I felt like I wasn't hitting great, but I think I was able to manage it pretty well."
Bianca started out strong with a birdie on the second hole, but the fourth continued to be an achilles heel--with a bogey on the third straight day.
She also listed a bogey and a birdie on the final two holes of the front nine.
Pagdanganan also went one over in two more holes in the back nine, but bounced back with a seeming favorite in the 18th hole--with a birdie on the third consecutive day.
"I felt like I was hitting it pretty good. I wasn't putting very great," she remarked. "Today wasn't it."
The wind also continued to be a factor for the golfers on the course.
"You gotta have to trust your gut. You have to commit to that, 100%," Pagdanganan said regarding her approach in playing with the wind.

There's one more round later on Saturday, and there's a good five to seven points between Bianca and the current top three golfers: Morgane Metraux of Switzerland, Lydia Ko of New Zealand, and Rose Zhang of the USA.
"All in. Go big or go home," Bianca said of her game plan. "I'm gonna be smart tomorrow, aggressive but still smart--take advantage of all the opportunities I've set for myself."
Round 4 will begin at 3 p.m. on August 10, Philippine time.
